This 3-hour course is divided into three parts:
Lecture: Isometric Stretching: The Science & Theory
– A detailed 1-hour lecture (in two parts) introducing the science behind isometric stretching and how it fits into the broader landscape of stretching and movement.Practice 1: Lower Body Isometric Stretching Yoga Class – 45 min
– A guided yoga-based workshop where you’ll explore practical ways to apply isometric stretching to the hips, hamstrings, and lower body.Practice 2: Upper Body Isometric Stretching Yoga Class – 50 min
– A companion workshop focusing on the shoulders, chest, and upper body.
