PUSHING & PULLING WITH WEIGHTS w/kathryn bruni-young
Join Kathryn for an intelligent and innovative practice that will help you to build both upper body strength (pulling & pushing) and lower body strength (specifically posterior chain work) - using weights!
Even though the non-traditional props of weights are used in this class, Kathryn teaches this practice with all of the focus & mindfulness of any yoga class. You will leave this practice feeling more connected to your body and more informed on how to use weights in the context of a yoga practice!
This practice utilizes 1 yoga block, 1 kettlebell, & 1 dumbbell. (Kathryn recommends that you start with an 8-12 kg kettlebell and a 10-15 lb dummbell - but if you're experienced with weights, feel free to use heavier ones!)
