This practice is designed to first prepare our joints intelligently for the loads involved in inversions, and to then have fun playing with different ways to approach handstand! You don't need to have a full upside-down inversion practice to try this class - but an attitude of playfulness toward trying little "hops" is great!

This practice starts out with about 10 minutes of focused wrist & shoulder prep. Then we move into a slow flow that focuses at first on core strengthening and shoulder work (more inversion prep!), and then brings in several different & fun ways to approach handstands.

The more unique ways that we can experiment with going upside down, the more likely we are to learn something that "clicks" for us and eventually becomes an integral tool in our full inversion practice. Enjoy this smart and playful approach to improving your inversions!
